KELSEY HAMMERSLEY,
(Covenant Christian High School) is attending Indiana
University in Bloomington, IN. She is majoring in Athletic
Training and is also working toward an Elementary Education
Degree. Her first semester, she averaged over a 3.0 GPA.
MIRANDA BURNETT,
(Tri-Central High School) is playing DIV. I basketball
at Gardner-Webb College in Boiling Springs, NC. Her major
is Education. She wants to be an Athletic Director and
Coach. Miranda is averaging 7 points per game and 3 assists.
She plays an average of 32 minutes per game. She is on
the Dean's List with a 3.87 GPA.
WHITNEY MCWILLIAMS (Clay City High School), is attending Olney Central College
in Olney, IL. She is majoring in Physical Education and
Health. She wants to coach. She had a first semester GPA
of 3.6. During the summer she works at Kerasotes Theatres
in Terre Haute. Whitney received the Mental Attitude Award for the 1A Girls Game
last summer at the Indiana East/West All-Star Basketball
Games in New Castle.
KAYLA SAUCEDO (Tri-County High School), is attending IUPUI and majoring
in Exercise Science. She is involved with IUPUI's intramural
basketball league and plays on an all boys team. She is
currently an aerobics instructor on campus and working
part time. Next year she plans to attend Purdue.
LAURA BLAYDES (N. Putnam High School), is a student at Danville Area
Community College. She is in Pre-Med and wants to be an
orthopedic surgeon. Laura is playing softball.
LINDSEY GANGLOFF (Fairfield High School), attends Goshen College, where
she is an Elementary Education major. She plays on the
basketball team.
CHRISTY ALEXANDER (Centerville High School), goes to Stockton College in
New Jersey where she is a major in EMT. She is interested
in Firefighting. She plays tennis.
KAELAN POINDEXTER (Centerville High School), attends the University of St.
Francis in Ft. Wayne where she is a Physical Therapy major.
She attends school on a softball scholarship.
KACIE ELLIS (Centerville High School), will be attending Vincennes
University in the Fall, August 2007. She will be studying
Law Enforcement.
ASHLEE RODDY (Eastern Hancock High School), is studying Nursing at
Ivy Tech University.
RYLEIGH CARR, (Rochester Community H.S.) is attending St. Joseph's College at Rensselaer, IN. Her major is Physical Education and her minor is Education. Ryleigh plays on the Girls Basketball Team.
REAGAN KANNE, (Rensselaer Central H.S.) is a Freshman at Purdue, where she is majoring in Pre-Pharmacy. First semester she was on the Dean's List.
RACHEL HADLEY, (Monrovia H.S.) is attending Purdue where she is in the School of Nursing. She plays Intramural Basketball and pledged Phi Mu Sorority. She was on the Dean's List first semester.
EMILY PUFFER, (Cloverdale H.S.) is a Freshman at Indiana University. She is majoring in Biology with a minor in Music. She is working toward a career in pharmaceutical sales. Emily works part-time as a lifeguard at the YMCA.
KATLYN STORMS, (North Montgomery H.S.) attends Tri-State University in Angola, IN. Her major is in Sports Management. She plays on the volleyball team. |
BRETT BAYS (Lapel High School), is attending Purdue and majoring
in Ag-Economics with an emphasis on Agri-Business. He
is a member of Alpha Gamma Rho (AGR) and participates
in intramural sports on campus. Brett returns home to
Anderson on weekends during the Spring and Fall seasons
to help out with planting and harvesting. His future plans
are to return to Anderson upon graduation to partner with
his dad and uncle in overseeing a 4000 acre farming operation
and trucking business.
CORY SHARRETT (Blue River High School), is at Purdue University majoring
in Landscape Architecture. He participates in Intramural
sports.
DONNIE PRUITT (Randolph Southern), attends Tri-State University in Angola.
He plays on the varsity basketball team and is majoring
in Elementary Education.
CHRIS BATTISTA (Bethesda Christian), attends Cedarville University in
Ohio. He is a Pre-Med student who does volunteer work
at a hospital on weekends. Chris plays intramural basketball
and soccer. First semester he had a 4.0 GPA.
JOSH SMITH (Orleans High School), attends Purdue where he
is an Engineering Major. He enjoys recreation at the Co-Rec.
FERLANDO PICKETT (Covenant Christian), attends Indiana State University
where he is majoring in Athletic Training and Physical
Therapy. He plays intramural basketball.
MICHAEL CRANE (Bloomfield High School), is a Freshman at Rose-Hulman.
He is majoring in Computer Engineering. Michael is on
the basketball team for Coach Shaw.
DREW KRING (Shawe Memorial, Madison), attends Taylor University in
Upland, IN. He is on the basketball team with lots of
playing time. His major is Business.
BRANDON LAUSTER (Shawe Memorial, Madison), attends Mt. St. Joseph College
in Cincinnati, where he plays on the basketball team.
His major is Business Education. He wants to teach in
high school and be a college coach.
